According to a recently published study conducted by researchers from the University of Illinois and Wisconsin’s Bureau of Environmental Health in the USA, individuals who consume fish or omega-3 fatty acids face a higher risk of developing diabetes.

The reason is linked to the presence of pesticides such as DDT, which despite being banned for decades in the US, remain in the fish flesh for long periods of time.

The risk of diabetes was also found to rise further with the amount of fish or fish oil consumed.

Our sincere thanks, US scientists for this report on the hazards of fish and fish oil consumption.
May everyone soon realize the manifold benefits of the safe and delicious animal-free vegan diet.
