The UK-based World Cancer Research Fund has called for all parents to stop putting ham, salami, bacon and other processed meats in their children’s lunchboxes.

The experts warn that such meats directly increase the risk of bowel cancer.
They also encourage parents to promote healthy eating habits early.

Registered Dietician Krista Haynes of the US-based Cancer Project has joined in the call and is urging parents to act as well as calling for the US government to eliminating processed meats from the National School Lunch program.

World Cancer Research Fund, Dietician Haynes and The Cancer Project, we, too, applaud and support your concerned voice on the dangers of meat consumption.

Let us all quickly adopt the wholesome plant-based lifestyle to protect our health and that of our children.
