The Travel Clinic Limited, a group of British health professionals who advise on medical considerations for travel, recently cautioned that eating dog meat has been connected to two human fatalities in the Philippines as well as cases of rabies in China and Âu Lạc (Vietnam).

The report stated that workers processing infected dog flesh can easily contract the disease and that one of the Philippines’ who perished was a young child who had eaten contaminated dog meat.

Rabies is almost always fatal after symptoms appear and according to the World Health Organization is responsible for 55,000 deaths each year.

Our appreciation, The Travel Clinic Limited for these cautionary insights.
Wishing everyone the soon adoption of wholesome plant-based fare for a safer and more compassionate world.
