On the first anniversary of the Meat Free Mondays campaign in Formosa (Taiwan), Chemistry Nobel laureate Dr. Lee Yuan-tseh further urged for consumption of less meat and more vegetables, as well as living more simply.
During a video presentation, he cautioned that if we continue on the current path of rising greenhouse gases, the human race could vanish within 100 years.

Dr. Lee, who is also former president of Formosa’s most prestigious research institute, Academia Sinica, said: “The fewer meat consumers there are, the better humans’ chances of survival on the planet.” Thank you, Dr. Lee Yuan-tseh, for your concern about the welfare of humanity. May we all heed such expert recommendations and quickly turn to the veg lifestyle for optimal personal and planetary health.
