US health officials on November 24, 2011 confirm seven cases so far of a swine-originating H3N2 flu virus, with three people who had to be hospitalized thus far, that they say appears to have been contracted through person-to-person transmission instead of animal contact, raising concerns for a mutated virus form that could lead to another pandemic.
