(Los Angeles, California, USA) – The free-to-air constructive channel Supreme Master Television will air an eclectic concert “Rejoicing in Our Green Planet and Peaceful Life” from September 7-12, 2009 on Enlightening Entertainment in celebration of its 3rd anniversary.
Legendary American actress Debbie Reynolds is the guest speaker. She introduces the special appearance via videoconference of the guest of honor, world-renowned humanitarian, artist, and spiritual teacher Supreme Master Ching Hai. Miss Reynolds states, “She wants the world to come together, as we all do. She wants to see that we can save our world by love and inspiration, through music and art.”
Oscar and Emmy winner Bill Conti, Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine, 5-time Grammy nominee David Benoit, Grammy winner Bob Kulick, and Emmy winner Don Davis set Supreme Master Ching Hai’s poetry to music. Vegan actor Chris DeRose and vegetarian actress/comedienne Debra Skelton are the Masters of Ceremonies. Other featured performances include The Green Children, Japanese Taiko Drums (TAIKOPROJECT), South Indian Classical Dance (Shakti Company), Korean Royal Court Dance (Kim Eung Hwa Academy), Egyptian Candelabra Dance (Adam Basma Company), Chinese Classical Music (Los Angeles Chinese Orchestra), and Russian Folk Music & Dance (Russian Souvenir Company). Also performing are acclaimed vocalists Kerry Walsh, Arnold McCuller, Giorgia Fumanti, Shari Belgeau, Matt Jardine, Adam Jardine, Vũ Khanh, and Thanh Hà. A comedy “Off to Greener Pastures” with Billy McNamara, Joanne Rose, Will Ryan, and Debra Skelton offers a delightful perspective of the animal-free lifestyle.
