As part of a national unification goal, the Congolese Parliament has passed a law granting amnesty to 150 Congolese who have agreed to join the peace process.

Commenting on the continued implementation of the Goma Peace Agreement signed approximately one year ago, Communications Minister Lambert Mende stated that concerted efforts continue to be made for successful reintegration of all groups.

Our respectful accolades, Minister Mende and Democratic Republic of Congo, on this progress towards fruitful cooperation among all fellow citizens.

Wishing the newly released Congolese joyful reunions with loved ones and success in contributing to the harmony of the country.
