In world news, Peru and Colombia agree to expand markets in the Asia and Pacific region. An accord signed between the two countries allows use of each other’s diplomatic offices in the nations in which they don’t presently have an embassy or consulate. The purpose of this agreement is to extend the Asian markets of the two nations. It was signed by Peruvian Foreign Minister His Excellency José Antonio García Belaúnde and Colombian Foreign Minister Her Excellency María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar.

Our earnest thanks, Your Excellencies, José Antonio García Belaúnde and María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar, Peru, and Colombia, for your mutual support of each other’s development. May amicable efforts such as these enhance friendships between the people of many lands.
