Dr. Yusuke Sugahara and colleagues from Tohoku University have created a prototype of a train that can fly. It floats above the ground on a cushion of air and uses wings and propellers.

This reduces friction which potentially allows it to reach greater speeds and thus require less energy than conventional trains. Our thankfulness,

Dr. Yusuke Sugahara and fellow researchers, for this fantastic design. We look forward to seeing more such marvelous innovations which can be of benefit to all Earth inhabitants.
