American food and arts journalist Grant Butler of leading northwest Pacific, USA newspaper 『The Oregonian』 has launched a twice-monthly column on Oregonlive.com called 『Going Vegan.』 The idea for 『Going Vegan』 originated from Mr. Butler’s one month documented experiment of the plant-based diet,
which he decided to turn into a permanent lifestyle after discovering that doing so was not only healthier but also fun and delicious.
Describing his new column, Mr. Butler says, 『‘Going Vegan’ isn't just for vegans. I think anyone who loves food will like the recipes that will be featured here, and if they inspire you to eat a diet that relies less on meat, eggs and dairy, then your heart and Mother Earth will thank you.』
Hats off Mr. Grant Butler and Oregonlive.com for sharing the celebration of such a vital and lifesaving switch to plant-based fare. We look forward to tuning in to more such new discoveries in vegan avenues of living.
