In animal welfare news, an ambulance service saves over 800 cats and dogs in Malta. Launched in July 2009, the vehicle rescues homeless animals. They are then taken to a veterinarian for necessary treatment, and later can be adopted. Rural Affairs Minister His Excellency George Pullicino of the southern European island encouraged more people to make an animal friend part of the family. Heaven bless you, Your Excellency George Pullicino and Malta, for providing this loving assistance to help our innocent co-inhabitants. May all of our fellow beings be graced with happy homes and cherished companions.
