In animal welfare news, Tzvika the turtle walks again with the assistance of supporting wheels. Tzvika was brought to the Israeli Wild Animal Hospital in Ramat Gan about six months ago with a fractured spine due to an injury caused by a lawn mower. Despite receiving medical treatment, Tzvika’s ability to move around and appetite decreased. To help the lovely turtle, the hospital staff equipped him with a set of training wheels attached under his abdomen. Tzvika loves his new found mobility. It is now hoped that he will fully recover and again be able to thrive in a natural setting.

Our heartfelt gratitude, Israeli Wild Animal Hospital staff, for your loving care of the precious turtle. We wish you many happy and healthy years, courageous Tzvika, with all God’s blessings.
