To be completed by 2012, the medical complex in the Wolong Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province is being constructed in the simple and natural architectural style of the locality.

It will feature 12,524 square meters of floor space designed to accommodate 40 of the endangered animal friends. Financed by the Hong Kong Government and private investors, the US$32 million project will enable rescue and treatment services and disease control and prevention research.

Our thankfulness, China and Hong Kong Government, for your dedication to the well-being of our precious panda friends. May these exquisite herbivorous animal co-inhabitants forever thrive and continue to bless our world.
