Monsieur Nicolino of France has written “Bidoche, the Meat Industry Threatens the World.” Bidoche is a term for a low-quality, cheap type of meat. In an interview with the renowned French daily newspaper Le Monde, the author points outthat French policies in the last decades have led to overproduction of meat and dairy products, with devastating results for both the environment and human health.
He also points out that the cruel treatment of animals on factory farms represents a moral deficiency. Monsieur Nicolino calls for a rethinking both of the farming practices and food choices in order to have enough food for everyone and to protect the environment.
Our earnest thanks, Monsieur Nicolino and Le Monde for helping the public become further aware of the dangers of consuming animal products. As more people learn the truth about meat consumption, may all embrace the compassionate, life-saving vegan fare.
