Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister His Excellency Shivraj Singh Chauhan has ruled against including eggs in a government-sponsored mid-day meal food assistance program. It serves children in 66,000 community-based centers throughout the state. His Excellency stated, “As long as Shivraj Singh Chauhan is chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, eggs will not be introduced. In any case, the human body is fashioned to consume vegetarian food. And a vegetarian diet has everything the human body requires.”
