In the CBS Sports affiliate BleacherReport.com, a division of the leading television network CBS Broadcasting, sports correspondent Mike A. includes Major League baseball player Prince Fielder in his article, “Creating the Perfect Baseball Player Using Active Players Only.” While players like Ken Griffey, Jr. and Derek Jeter were listed for their perfect swing and baseball IQ, Prince Fielder was noted for his power.

Mike A. writes, “Prince Fielder is the biggest, most powerful vegetarian I have ever laid eyes on. For his career he averages a homer every 14.8 (times) at bat.

At the age of 23 he was the youngest player in baseball history to ever hit 50 home runs in a season. Bottom line: (He) is powerful.” Our hats off Prince Fielder, journalist Mike A and CBS Sports for highlighting the vegetarian lifestyle as one that is both health and strength promoting.

May such winning star power bring more and more people to the countless benefits of the life sustaining plant-based diet.
