Researchers at Australia’s Curtin University have found that eating foods high in saturated fats damages the membrane that regulates nutrients going into the brain.

This makes it easier for the protein amyloid, which is linked to Alzheimer’s disease, to be deposited in brain tissue.

The most prevalent dietary sources of saturated fats are meat and dairy products. Our appreciation, Curtin University scientists for highlighting this link from animal products to the tragic Alzheimer’s disease.

May people across the globe protect themselves and their loved ones by switching to nutritious plant-based fare, which is naturally low in saturated fats.
