Ethical investment fund launched in Australia. Melbourne-based financial planning company, Ethical Money, has established Cruelty-Free Super, a fund committed to investing only in products that uphold human and animal rights as well as environmental protection. Managed by the bank, Credit Suisse, the fund’s founder, Mr. Lee Coates of the United Kingdom is an ethical investment specialist whose socially responsible funds managed over the past two decades have consistently shown higher yields than their conventional counterparts, which Mr. Coates attributes to the rigorous research process involved in ensuring the ethical standards of the investments.
