Ethiopian leaders choose peace. The Ethiopian government and the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) group signed a peace agreement ending two decades of conflict. ONLF Chairman Salahdin Abdurahman Maow stated, “By signing this peace agreement, we hope to bring sustainable peace and development to the Ogaden region.” He went on to say, “We have come to understand the destructive nature of war and that war is not the only solution.”

Ethiopian leaders, we are thankful for your direction of peace. May harmonious relations prevail for all people across the land.
