Pig friends Felix and Rudi accompany German physiotherapist Mr. Daan Vermeulen when he visits a seniors’ home. He has found that when children or seniors with emotional issues take part in feeding and grooming the pig companions, the patients become more open to receiving physiotherapy.

Mr. Vermeulen stated that pigs exude a feeling of tranquility and help seniors improve their motor skills by giving them the motivation to move about.

Kudos, Mr. Vermeulen, on your delightful method of therapy. Also, our gratitude, sweet Felix and Rudi, for your kind help. May all intelligent and gentle pig co-inhabitants have many opportunities to share abundant love with human and animal friends alike.
